Flight Times to Fuerteventura
The UK to Fuerteventura flight time can depend on which airport you are flying from and also the weather, particularly the wind.
Obviously the London to Fuerteventura flight time will be less than the Scotland to Fuerteventura flight time as it is a significantly shorter distance.
The Fuerteventura flight time from UK is normally shorter than the flight back to the UK. That is because the prevailing wind is from the north-east so you normally have a tailwind going and a headwind going back which can significantly lengthen or shorten the duration of flight by as much as 45 minutes.

What is the time difference between UK and Fuerteventura?
The UK and Fuerteventura are always on the same time which is convenient. Visitors often get confused as they believe that Fuerteventura must be on the same time as mainland Spain but that is not the case.
We had friends who had been staying here for just over two weeks and we arranged to pick them up at 7pm to go out for a meal. I knocked on the door of their rental apartment at 7pm and when they opened the door they said they thought we had forgotten them and given up on us. I asked “Why? We said we would be here at 7pm” and they replied “but it is 8pm”.
They had been on the wrong time the whole of their stay. They said that they thought it was odd that there were so few people around when they went for a walk at what they thought was 8am every day but which was actually 7am.
