There are two ferries that go from Corralejo in the north to Playa Blanca in Lanzarote. The slower one is run by ARMAS (takes about an hour) and the faster one is run by Fred Olsen.

Foot passenger fare is about 40€ per person return.

Yes, but at the same time as those in the UK. Fuerteventura time is always the same as UK time. Having said that there are some noises being made about putting the Canaries on the same time as mainland Spain at some stage in the future.

Caleta de Fuste is located about 5 miles south of the airport on the east coast.

This is not an easy one to answer as it is so subjective. What one person will love another will hate. Personally, my favourite place on the island is El Cotillo in the north (About El Cotillo). If you want more life than El Cotillo can offer then consider Corralejo, Caleta de Fuste or down south in Jandia.

Fuerteventura is outside the EU for customs purposes so you can only take back 300 cigarettes.

Fuerteventura is the second largest of the canary islands. It is approximately 62 miles (100km) long by 18 miles (28km) wide at its widest point.
